Living in poverty-driven communities suffering from food insecurity that is escalated as a result of sub-standard exploitation, fishery resources, and other environmental challenges, small-scale Nigerian artisanal fishers have dominated the fisheries sub-sector. Sadly, environmental changes have reduced Kainji Lake's inflow levels from 393,369m/cu3 in 1994 to 307,231m/cu3 in 2011, accordingly reducing the fish yield by 24025 metric tons in the same period, which has put innumerable Nigerian beneficiaries livelihood at serious risk. The study aimed to devise and propose an adaptive strategy model using the concept of sustainable livelihoods approach. This study mainly depended on distributing questionnaires among thirty fishing communities as the data collection method and provided supplementary data from officials. The results indicated that a set of four livelihood activities yields optimum outcomes. This paper also discusses its implications.

Momentary changes in some criteria regarding the quality of water were examined by conducting field test and laboratory examination in Cole Mere during the summer months (June, July and August) of 2013. 10 locations were chosen (inside the lake) and each was sampled nearly one month away from the other. The average surface water temperature was documented in June, July and August samplings were 14.1 °C, 21.9 °C and 18.2 °C respectively. The variations in the average temperature were numerically notable (p=<0.001). The average absorption levels of Cholorophyll a were 9.3 μgl⁻ ¹, 15.2 μgl⁻ ¹ and 39.8 μgl⁻ ¹for June, July and August respectively and there was a noticeable difference observed between the months at p=0.001. The detected momentary change and the rising levels of summer chlorophyll a absorption are exact evidence of eutrophic estate. However, no notable variations were observed regarding pH and declined oxygen between the months.

Discussing climate change can only be achieved if the public understand the severity and the gravity of climate change and modify their behavior in directions that decrease hazardous discharge into the atmosphere and advocate adjustment, whereas the complexity, ambiguity and the vast scope of the issue which encompasses both the earth and the space have caused the obstacles for the understanding of the people of the society, which present a dire need for the crucial Climate Change Communication (CCC). Public’s search of knowledge and media application mode is a grave threat which needs to be annihilated for the convincing CCC. The current study has carried out a primary assessment of public’s search for knowledge and the application of media based on a national review which was conducted haphazardly of public outlook on climate change in mainland China. Results from the survey exhibit that the Chinese participants use TV as their most significant information seeking route, take into account the science organizations as the most reliable information route, and show little interest in the environmental related news content. Numerical associations between the parameters involved in communication that were mentioned above and consciousness on the subject of the climate change have also been examined. A few suggestions for CCC guidelines are brought forth according to the results of this study.

This study aimed to examine greenhouse productivity throughout generating greenhouse's safe goods in the province of Alborz. A basic randomized sample consisted of 150 greenhouse makers in Nazarabad, Hashtgerd and Chaharbagh districts of the Alborz Province is introduced and the demographic population of this experiment was incorporated. This analysis instruments were questionnaires verified by the University of Mohaghegh Ardebili and the University of Tehran, the faculty of water and agricultural management. Cronbach alpha 0.84 verified the specificity of the checklist. Based on the findings of the analysis, all leadership qualities of greenhouse stakeholders have a productive and important association with the development of safe greenhouse products in the province of Alborz, including interpersonal proficiencies, technological proficiencies, preparation proficiencies, arrangement proficiencies, success proficiencies, and control proficiencies. The findings of the regression analysis prove the 0.090 coefficient contact ability (beta) to generate safe greenhouse commodities in Alborz province to be substantially favorable.

Seventy years of age 10 (13-15), students of the Queen's High School in NZ, were taken to Westland National Park to record films about the weather alteration employing iPads to assess if ecological plunging and wireless multimedia (use smartphones or tablets) could lead favorable feelings to technology (Immersion Community). Another fourteen participants (Control Community) stayed in Dunedin and recorded climatic clips as well. The tools, tutoring, rewards and footage were applicable to all classes. But the Immersion Group's students were more possibly to create high-quality clips and recordings. Although the perceptions of both participants to science until the analysis did not vary, the Immersion Community had far more optimistic views about technology at school and well beyond. The mixture of ecological plunging and wireless filming greatly raised the attention to environmental and climate alteration, indicating that it is a useful medium for science learning.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is proved to be an effective application in universities and colleges around the world. SI is considered to decrease attenuation and enhance educating and accomplishment rate amongst pupils who took part in the study. We have applied SI on Organic Chemistry I lessons to support pupils’ engagement with acquiring the subject and information of Organic Chemistry, that is thought to be a tough and attenuating course. The goal of this study is to scrutinize the effect of SI addition in a big lecturing type Organic Chemistry class and meanwhile supporting scholars’ education and accomplishment in the mentioned class. The aim of the present study is to inspect if SI affects the scholars’ educational accomplishments, behaviors and educational capabilities. The tentative scheme is grounded on an experimental-like method that contains a survey of open-ended and Likert-scaled questions which was given to SI scholars and their scores have been compared with the scores of scholars who were not in SI plan. Results show that adding SI to Organic Chemistry lessons will have positive effects on scholars’ behavior towards the subject and involvement in the class, assist the scholars to grasp the subject and information better, enhance scholars’ abilities to solve the problems, and can be helpful in enhancing scholars’ accomplishment, success and education. SI scholars responded with an average of 81% on overall passing, where non-SI scholars had an average of 50%. SI scheme has delivered a special and personalized educational experience for scholars which ended in an improved conceptual perception.

Urban green space (UGS) is considered as a key item of urban life. It is not only stimulating urban beauty but also help to promoting resilience and health of urban citizen. There is a debate on the role of UGS on people’s health and resilience. Therefore, this study intends to reveal the potential of UGS for promoting resilience and health of urban citizen. A PRISMA guided systematic review of literature has been conducted over the last 10 years. Finally, 29 most relevant documents have been identified from existing literatures. This study argues that UGS has a positive impact on promoting resilience and health of urban citizen. Though it is a little bit difficult to explain the extent of the relationship, but many studies support the interlink between UGS and health and resilience. This study also explores a number of resilience indicators that are directly connected with UGS promote adaptive, absorptive and transformative capacity of urban people. It recommends to set up UGS properly so that urban citizen get facilities from it and enhance their resilience.

A variety of experiments have shown that water can occur as a liquid of high and low density, with various physical characteristics, as the product of two kinds of hydrogen association between H20 molecules. This is essential intracellular, since solutes may favor a water type or other, creates local gradients of different waters behaviors which, due to volume restrictions, cannot be balanced by the flux but can be balanced by a shift between water shapes. It is quite probable that the developmental powers have manipulated this extraordinary water capacity, contributing to mutualism among adjacent H2O molecules and macromolecules. A consequence is a spectrum of substrate unique enzyme with macromolecular hydration, which enhances the catalysis, and hydrated by the more favorable ones of the two water configurations. Moreover, owing to selective isolation of enzyme reaction components, the variations in the water structure of low /high density purvey the pathway for protein folding; a basic requirement for enzyme functions without neglecting thermodynamics.
